CRGA's competitive flow chart.
The purpose of the chart is to show you the different routes that your child can take in the sport of gymnastics. There are 3 different possibilities for your children:
Provincial level gymnastics,
National level gymnastics and
Elite or High performance gymnastics.
As the chart indicates with arrows, it is possible to start in a provincial program and work towards a National or Elite program. Each level has a range of hourly commitment behind it. All highly competitive clubs across Canada train their athletes in a similar way (many asking for more commitment.) If we follow our competitive flow chart we will have a much greater chance of succeeding not only at the high end of the sport, but all the levels in between.
